This is the world of exposure therapy. Exposure-based field work may be intimidating to even the most seasoned therapist as it is not a part of most standard training programs. In this training, we will cover how to work with a client in a collaborative effort to build, implement, and process everyday life skills from an exposure therapy approach.
In this training, Dr. Arthur Chen, PsyD, will walk-through the various stages of designing, implementing, and troubleshooting exposure-based therapy to solidify the gains made in therapy. This is often a critical step for clients to practice skills they have learned in individual and/or group therapy sessions. With coaching and real-time direction with the therapist, clients are often able to make monumental leaps forward in their healing. Dr. Arthur Chen has led exposure therapy in the treatment of eating disorders, substance recovery, social skills development, PTSD, and the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder.
